An API can be online while the relevant venue is closed, quotes are missing or a required data provider is rate limited.

Verify real provider observations for each supported asset class.
Differentiate provider outages from no qualified signals.
Do not manufacture sample statistics as live status.

Separate staging soak, authenticated broker test results, replay recovery and safety audits are needed before promotion.

Confirm staged versus production service and data isolation.
Prove demo fills, stop and partial exit reconciliation with the provider.
